The City of "Tayabas" is one of the most popular city here in Quezon Province. "Tayabas " has a total land area of 23,095 hectares divided among its 66 barangays, 19 of which are within the Poblacion; 47 classified as rural with respective areas ranging from a mere 10 hectares to an enormous 3,002.41 hectares. The compact urban core measures only 82.15 hectares which is less than one (1) percent of the total land area."

Theres a lot of beautiful places and recreations in "Tayabas". The Graceland in "Tayabas" is one of the most popular and also the Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan located in Brgy. Kamaysa "Tayabas" City. Also there are many resorts in "Tayabas" and one of the most beautiful resort is is the Nawawalang Paraiso Hotel And Resort.

"Tayabas" is very popular in terms of the traditional way of drinking. What else could that be but the famous coco vodka – “lambanog.” Lambanog is a famous drink among Filipinos and you can find one of the richest and most flavorful beverages only in "Tayabas".

Last September 2-3, 2008 , STI LUCENA together all the BSCS and BSIT and all graduating students attended the Y4IT seminar held at the UP Campus.... Our trip began at almost 5am. We arrive at the UP at almost past 8 am and we thougth we are late but actually not...

Theres a lot of interesting topics have been discussed there like photobloggig, SEO, Carreers in games, Game development, Microsoft in education etc.. One topic that catch my mind is BLOGGING. In blogging you can earn a lot of money thats why it is very interesting..
Other than that all the professors are highly educated ... It has an open forum for the students to know much better the paticular topic. And thats the first time that I saw Sen. Kiko Pangilinan because he is the first guess speaker of the seninar

The Y4IT seminar contribute more knowledge in me in the field of my study in STI LUCENA .

It is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. A project is a finite endeavor (having specific start and completion dates) undertaken to create a unique product or service which brings about beneficial change or added value. This finite characteristic of projects stands in sharp contrast to processes, or operations, which are permanent or semi-permanent functional work to repetitively produce the same product or service. In practice, the management of these two systems is often found to be quite different, and as such requires the development of distinct technical skills and the adoption of separate management philosophy, which is the subject of this article.

Some methods used in making a project:

PERT

The Program (or Project) Evaluation and Review Technique, commonly abbreviated PERT, is a model for project management designed to analyze and represent the tasks involved in completing a given project

A work breakdown structure or WBS is a tree structure, that permits summing of subordinate costs for tasks, materials, etc., into their successively higher level “parent” tasks, materials, etc. It is a fundamental tool commonly used in project management and systems engineering.

Cost estimating, budgeting, and practical application of Cost/Schedule Control System (earned value) techniques to smaller projects.
